In 2007, after almost 20 years in the PR business, O'Connell decided to focus on her real passion and just write.
O'Connell is a multi-genre author who has written both fiction and non-fiction. Her books include Mental Pause, her first novel that won an IPPY (Independent Publisher Magazine) Book Award, and her latest novel, Deep Deceit, that landed in the top 10 on the Amazon Kindle best seller list during launch week in March 2015. Her non-fiction books include @Home in Dubai... Getting Connected Online and on the Ground; and 10 Steps to a Successful PR Campaign-A Do-it-Yourself Guide for Authors.
