I am Nigel Code from the North East of England, although as a novel writer I shouldn't capitalise North or East apparently, only non-fiction authors do that. Nope, me neither.
I have been writing a series of seven novels for, about forever, and I am finally going through the hard yards of self-publishing. I intend to try to do it properly so I have the full machinery set up for subscribing readers, sending newsletters, the whole jolly author thing. If anybody wants advice on setting that up, I can try, because I put it all together myself so should hopefully remember some of it and be able to help.
My novels are mysteries with a bit of a haunted element, is there something to what people call ghosts after all? The first one should in theory appear next month. If anybody wants to find out more about me, I can be found at www.nigelcode.co.uk
That's enough about me. Who wants to go next?
I've got a friend on the other side in Northwest England in Morcambe. He helped get Noveltunity started.
Tell your friends about us and how they can join for free.
THANKS!
Hi, I'm Jaisen Mahne from Burnie, Tasmania, Australia. I am currently in the outlining stage of my first novel. It's a fantasy novel about a group of people who come from very different cultures that must overcome adversity as their world descends into chaos.
I've been having some trouble getting started, but I feel that being a part of a writing community can only help me learn and grow.
It's nice to be here. I look forward to engaging with others in this space.
Cheers from down under!
Hi Jaisen,
We're excite to have you as a member. As we get going you will be able to ask other members about your path.
As to getting started, there's a saying in America, "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good." Sometimes just throwing everything up against the wall will show a way to go.
By the way, when we started Noveltunity many years ago, Aussie writer Lorraine Cobcroft won our vote. Her book was excellent. You could be next.
Please feel free to invite all your friends and family.
By the way, watch your email this week. You'll be receiving a copy of the most successful book ever to win a contest here.
Thanks again,
Rick

Cheers,
